The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) as part of measures to ensure the smooth registration of students for its private examinations has unveiled a new portal (https://unified.ghanawaec.org) to assist in online registration.

According to WAEC, the new portal is meant for the registration of only private examinations conducted by the Examinations Council.

“Students willing to register to sit for any of the private examinations including BECE for Private, WASSCE for Private (Nov/Dec) and General and Advance Business Certificate Examination (A/GBCE) can do so at the portal,” WAEC indicated.

NOV/DEC 2023 REGISTRATION BEGINS

WAEC has commenced the registration of prospective students to sit for the 2023 WASSCE for Private candidates.

WAEC said the 2023 WASSCE for Private Candidates registration process would end on July 27, 2023, without further extension of the Nov/Dec deadline.

“Members of the general public are informed that the registration for the 2023  WASSCE for Private Candidates has commenced. The closing date for the registration is July 27, 2023,” the Examinations Council said in the communique.

How to register for 2023 WASSCE for Private

1. Visit the Nov/Dec registration portal

2. Fill in the required security information data, i.e. password, security question, etc.

3. Fill in your personal information.
