Vice President Bawumia Hosts Winners of the 2023 Junior Graphic National Essay Competition at Jubilee House
This afternoon, Vice President Bawumia welcomed the winners and finalists of the 2023 Junior Graphic National Essay Competition to Jubilee House on behalf of His Excellency, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The competition, organized by the Graphic Communications Group in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Advisory Unit at the Office of the President, aims to unearth and nurture talents through writing.
Brilliance of Young Students
Vice President Bawumia expressed his admiration for the brilliance displayed by the young students as they discussed the details of their essays, which focused on the SDGs.
Their insightful contributions underscored the importance of promoting education and fostering awareness of global issues among Ghanaian youth.
Alignment with the Government’s Vision
The objective of the Junior Graphic National Essay Competition, “unearthing and nurturing talents through writing,” aligns closely with the government’s broader vision of prioritizing free, quality, accessible, and inclusive education for every Ghanaian child since 2017.
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to empowering the youth and preparing them to become active contributors to national development.
