How to get an Assurance Letter for Transfers in the GES



Reposting Allowance

To apply for the reposting allowance, staff must submit the following documents:

  • Application letter (2 copies)
  • Reposting letter (2 copies)
  • Payslip of the month of reposting (2 copies)
  • File one (1) set and attach one (1) set to the signed list for the regional office.

Car/Motor Maintenance Allowance

To apply for the car/motor maintenance allowance, staff must submit the following documents:

  • GES headquarters covering letter (2 copies)
  • Ministry of Finance letter (2 copies)
  • Form C of car (2 copies)
  • Insurance certificate of the year in question (2 copies)
  • Roadworthy certificate of the year in question (2 copies)
  • Current payslip (2 copies)
  • File one (1) set and attach one (1) set to the signed list for the regional office.

Bicycle Maintenance Allowance

To apply for the bicycle maintenance allowance, staff must submit the following documents:

  • GES headquarters covering letter (2 copies)
  • Ministry of Finance letter (2 copies)
  • Current payslip (2 copies)
  • File one (1) set and attach one (1) set to the signed list for the regional office.

Drivers Overtime Allowance

To apply for the drivers’ overtime allowance, staff must submit the following documents:

  • Appointment letter (2 copies)
  • Conversion letter (if conversion has taken place) (2 copies)
  • Current payslip (2 copies)
  • File one (1) set and attach one (1) set to the signed list for the regional office.

Tools Allowance

To apply for the tools allowance, staff must submit the following documents:

  • Appointment letter (2 copies)
  • Conversion letter (if conversion has taken place) (2 copies)
  • Current payslip (2 copies)
  • File one (1) set and attach one (1) set to the signed list for the regional office.

Note:

  • All documents should be arranged in the order in which they appear on the sheet.
  • All effective dates should be checked in calculating the due amounts for beneficiaries.
