It is a highly sought-after school due to its excellent academic performance and extracurricular activities. In the 2021 WASSCE, the school had an average score of 83.2%, making it the top school in Ghana. In 2022, the school won the prestigious National Science and Maths quiz and has its students making a massive impact in the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination..The secondary boarding school for boys located in Legon, Accra Legon, also made it to the list with its 78.08% average pass rate in WAASCE 2022.

LEGON PRSEC has the most modern equipment for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education with huge support from old students.

Presbyterian Boys’ Senior School is reportedly one of the biggest senior high schools in the country. The all-boys school, popularly referred to as PRESEC was founded in 1938 by the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Presently, the institution of learning boasts about 3,000 students.

3 Ghana National College

Ghana National College is a co-educational school located in Cape Coast. It was established in 1932 and is one of the oldest schools in the country. It has been consistently ranked among the top schools in Ghana due to its excellent academic performance. In the 2021 WASSCE, the school had an average score of 82.3%, making it the third-best school in the country.

4 St. Augustine’s College

St. Augustine’s College is a prestigious all-boys school located in Cape Coast. It was established in 1925 and has been consistently ranked among the top schools in the country. In the 2021 WASSCE, the school had an average score of 81.7%, making it the fourth-best school in the country.

The all-male academic institution in Cape Coast that started at Amissano, a village near Elmina, in 1930, also made it to the list of the best educational institutions in the country. Based on the WAEC rating, it has an 83.06% average success rate in 2022 WASSCE.

5 Prempeh College

Prempeh College is a prestigious all-boys school located in Kumasi. It was established in 1949 and has been consistently ranked among the top schools in the country.

Although the college is a public secondary boarding school for boys in Kumasi, it has a good learning environment and equipped trainers. Adisadel College is a prestigious all-boys school located in Cape Coast. It was established in 1910 and has been consistently ranked among the top schools in the country. In the 2021 WASSCE, the school had an average score of 80.2%, making it the sixth-best school in the country.

7 Mfantsipim School

Mfantsipim School is a prestigious all-boys school located in Cape Coast. It was established in 1876 and has been consistently ranked among the top schools in the country. In the 2021 WASSCE, the school had an average score of 79.7%, making it the seventh-best school in the country.

Mfantsipim is an all-boys boarding secondary school in Cape Coast. In the last examination, it had an average pass rate of 79.03%. IN 2022 WASSCE HAS BEEN CONSISTENT IN ITS ACADEMIC LAURELS OVER THE YEARS.

8 Wesley Girls’ High School

Wesley Girls’ High School is a prestigious all-girls school located in Cape Coast. It was established in 1834 and has been consistently ranked among the top schools in the country. In the 2021 WASSCE, the school had an average score of 79.6%, making it the eighth-best school in the country.

 

Wesely Girls High School leads other all-girls schools located in the country. The educational institution is in Cape Coast, the Central Region of Ghana. With its 87.53% average success rate in the 2022 WASSCE, it has proved to be the best all-girls school to send your girls to.
