In a gesture of generosity and commitment to academic excellence, Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated 100 laptops to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

This donation, made in fulfilment of a personal pledge, aims to enhance the university’s technological resources and support students in their academic pursuits.

Details of the Donation

Dr. Gideon Boako, the Spokesperson for the Vice-President, presented the laptops to KNUST officials on behalf of Dr. Bawumia. The donation comes as a fulfillment of a promise made by the Vice-President during KNUST’s 57th congregation ceremony.

Reception by KNUST Officials

The Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson, and the Registrar of the university graciously received the laptops on behalf of the institution.
