WAEC Confirms Structure of 2024 Computing BECE Questions: Details Revealed

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially confirmed the structure of the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Computing paper. Here are the key details:

Examination Structure:

• The Computing examination will last for 2 hours and consist of two sections, Papers 1 and 2.

Section A (Paper 1):

• Objective test comprising 40 questions.
• Candidates have 45 minutes to answer all 40 objective questions.

Section B (Paper 2):

• Divided into two parts: compulsory questions and optional questions.
• Compulsory questions are worth 24 marks.
• Candidates must choose and answer any three out of four optional questions.
• The time allocated for Section B is one hour and 15 minutes.

Total Marks:

• Section A: 40 marks (objective questions)
• Section B: 60 marks (compulsory and optional questions)
