The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), celebrated a historic moment on Friday, April 19, 2024, as it formally welcomed Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual into office as its 5th Vice-Chancellor.

The investiture ceremony, held at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre on the North Campus of Winneba, was a prestigious event attended by esteemed dignitaries and luminaries from various fields.

The investiture ceremony not only marked the official induction of Prof. Mitchual but also served as a celebration of academic excellence and a vision for the future of UEW.

Captivating performances from the School of Creative Arts and the UEW Cadet Corps added to the grandeur of the occasion, setting the stage for a new chapter under Prof. Mitchual’s leadership.

In his inaugural address, Neenyi Ghartey VII, Chancellor of UEW, underscored the crucial role of a Vice-Chancellor in guiding the institution towards its vision of excellence.
