GES Introduces 2024 School Farm Awards to Foster Agricultural Education

The Ghana Education Service (GES), in collaboration with the Science Education Unit (SEU) and the Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC), has launched the School Farm Awards initiative, spearheaded by the Blue Skies Foundation, to promote agricultural education among Second Cycle Schools nationwide.

Encouraging Practical Learning

The School Farm Awards initiative aims to incentivize schools to develop and maintain agricultural projects that provide hands-on learning experiences for students. By engaging in practical agricultural activities, students gain valuable skills and knowledge in farming practices, contributing to their holistic development.

Call for Applications

GES is pleased to announce that applications for the 2024 School Farm Awards are now open to all Second Cycle Schools across the country. Schools are encouraged to seize this opportunity and submit their applications before the deadline on March 4th, 2024.
