The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a directive requesting crucial data regarding teachers responsible for single-track final-year students and those teaching across levels in transitional schools. This move aims to ensure effective management and coordination of educational resources in these institutions.
Request for Data:
GES has formally communicated to all Heads of Single Track Schools regarding the retention of final-year students until 28th March, with a semester break and return scheduled for 17th April 2024. In light of this, Heads of Single Track Schools are tasked with providing detailed information about the teachers handling these final-year students.
Furthermore, Heads of Transitional Schools are also required to furnish GES Management with specific details concerning teachers who are involved in teaching across tracks or levels within the school.

GES has instructed Regional Directors to disseminate this request to all Heads of Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools for immediate action. The requested data should be submitted to the Director-General through the designated email address: ddgmssecretariat@ges.gov.gh. This streamlined submission process ensures that the information reaches the appropriate office promptly and efficiently.

Heads of Single Track and Transitional Schools are urged to adhere to the submission deadline. The requested data must reach the designated office by the close of work on Tuesday, 27th February 2024.
