UCC Youngsters advance to the finals of the Central Region Second Division Promotional Super Zonals Soccer tournament after defeating Breman United 3-0. Catch the final match against Betenase United on May 27, 2024.
The University of Cape Coast, UCC Youngsters have booked their ticket for the final of the Central Region Second Division Promotional Super Zonals Soccer tournament after an impressive 3-0 victory over Breman United. The match, held in front of a sparse crowd, showcased UCC Youngsters’ dominance from the start.
Match Highlights
First Half:
- 20th Minute: Level 300 student Charles Oppong opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Abudu Dramani was fouled in the Breman United box.
Second Half:
- 56th Minute: Abudu Dramani capitalized on a defensive blunder to score the second goal.
- 75th Minute: Charles Amoah added the third goal, taking advantage of another defensive mistake.
Despite Breman United’s efforts to mount a comeback, UCC Youngsters’ ace goalkeeper, Level 100 student Kluivert Owusu Asamoah, made several crucial saves to keep the clean sheet intact.
Final Match Details
UCC Youngsters will face Betenase United in the final of the tournament. The match will be live-streamed by the Central Regional Football Association on Facebook on Monday, May 27, 2024, at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
