The community of Dormaa Ahenkro is reeling from the tragic loss of 19-year-old Abigail Kyeremaa, a student at Dormaa Senior High School.

On the evening of April 9, 2024, Kyeremaa Matilda, 40, accompanied by Nana Atuoni Gyabaah, approached the Dormaa District Police station with a grave report.
They shared that Abigail had been experiencing severe abdominal pain, leading to the revelation of her pregnancy and the ingestion of medication purportedly provided by Philip Addae to terminate the pregnancy.
Despite emergency care efforts at Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital, Abigail tragically passed away shortly after arrival.
