The education sector in Ghana has introduced a series of shortcodes designed to provide teachers with quick and convenient access to essential services. These shortcodes cover various aspects of teachers’ needs, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.

Key shortcodes introduced:

  1. SSNIT (Tier 1): Teachers can access their Tier 1 Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) information by dialling *711*9#.
  2. GESOPS (Tier 2): For details about the Tier 2 pension scheme under the Ghana Education Service Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS), teachers can dial *365*65#.
  3. GNAT Provident (Tier 3): Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Provident Fund members can access their information by dialling *789*33#.
  4. Teachers Fund: To access the Teachers Fund, which provides financial assistance to teachers, educators can dial *888#.
  5. NHIS Registration: Teachers can conveniently register for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) by dialling *929#.

Region-Specific Shortcodes:

  1. GNAT Ashanti Bundle: Teachers in the Ashanti region can enjoy special data bundles by dialling *800*08#.
  2. NAGRAT Data Bundle: Members of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) can access tailored data bundles by dialling *227*2234#.
