Teachers are assured that their interests will be safeguarded during this process, with unions aiming to conclude negotiations by the end of February 2024.”

 

The existing Collective Bargaining Agreement (Condition of Service) for teachers in the pre-tertiary education sector expired in August 2023. In response, negotiations for a new agreement have commenced, with teacher unions emphasizing their commitment to safeguarding the interests of educators.
