EducationGhana| June 23| GES sacks 27 teachers for possessing fake certificates:
The Ghana Education Service (GES) HAS WITHDRAWN THE SERVICES OF SOME TWENTY SEVEN (27) teachers from the classroom for the North East Region.
According to the GES, such teachers claimed they have been appointed and posted to schools within the municipality of which further checks indicated their claims were false.
The GES said there was no documentation indicating such teachers were employed and posted to the supposed schools.
The GES in a letter dated June 21, 2022, to the Municipal Director of Education of the North East Region, indicated, that the confirmation was made at the Human Resource Unit of the GES Headquarters in Accra.
The letter said the confirmation was made upon request of verification from the North East Regional Education Directorate, WaleWale.
