The Ghana Education Service (GES) has rescheduled the December 2022 Teachers Promotion Examination to February 2023.

According to information gathered from the GES, the Exam will now be held on February 2023 even though the GES is yet to give the exact date for the examination.

Reason for Postponement

Explaining the purpose of rescheduling the exam to February 2023, the GES said

postponing the promotion aptitude test was a result of some unsolved issues concerning some of the tests conducted in particular centres in 2021.

Using statistics to argue out their decision, the GES said, 256 candidates who sat for their aptitude test at the centre in question were alleged to have performed poorly hence, management is finding an amicable solution to the happenings.

Due to the above problem, management needs ample time to look into the matter till the root cause and other associated factors to prevent its reoccurring in the future.

All teachers are urged to keep revising their notes including other relevant materials for the test while having in mind that February 2023 is the month for the 2022 GES promotion aptitude test.
