The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) Basic School has held its Graduation and Awards Ceremony for Kindergarten 2 Learners.

The ceremony took place on Friday, December 16, 2022, and was attended by the Volta Regional Minister Dr. Archibald Y. Letsa

The event held at the School’s Courtyard, Lokoe was used to ceremonially mark the completion of the Kindergarten programme by the Kindergarten-2 pupils and they are ushering into Primary One.

 

The Vice Chancellor of the University enumerated  some of the needs of the school which were enumerated . Among the needs were a library, computers, sports kits, a vehicle , and ICT facilities for each classroom.

The volta regional Minister requested that the needs be formally sent to my office as a request in order that we could facilitate the provision of some of them, I assured the school of personally getting it some library books.

He commended the University and the School for the great transformation they were bringing into the lives of our young people.

He also  had the opportunity to present awards to some deserving pupils who graduated from Kindergarten-2.
