An Educationist and Political Commentator, Claudia Duedu has said that the best option for preventing a possible spread of COVID-19 in schools, most especially at the Kindergarten levels was to take them out of the school system until further notice.
Claudia made this revelation in a discussion on Summer Radio on Saturday morning January 9, 2021, a SocioPolitical and Current Affairs show ”THE FORUM” hosted by Ellis Ferdinand, in Accra.
According to her, controlling the Kindergarten learners shall be the greatest challenge to be faced by facilitators at that level.

The Shift System
Claudia indicated that should the need be, for the learners to still be kept in schools, the Ghana Education Service (GES) should introduce a shift system for learners at all levels including the Kindergarten learners.
She believes that introducing a shift system at schools shall help minimize the number of leaners that come to school within a stipulated time, which shall intend to reduce the congestions in most of the schools.
