Meet the vibrant team behind Tomavi Wines, a trailblazing agribusiness startup crafting premium wines from tomatoes. With a mission to uplift smallholder tomato farmers and offer healthier market options, this venture is driven by the vision and expertise of three co-founders:

Firdaus Mohammed Awal, Graduate Research Assistant and CEO of Tomavi Wines.

Issah Muleikatu, Pharmacy student and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Ramzi Badrun Wunnam, final-year Physician Assistant and Chief Finance Officer (CFO).

The Co-Founders at a Glance

Firdaus Mohammed Awal – CEO

Firdaus, a BSc graduate in Community Nutrition from the University for Development Studies (UDS), is passionate about improving health through dietary innovations.

His experience includes serving as a nutritionist at the Tamale Teaching Hospital and a research assistant at UDS. With a deep understanding of nutrition and food science, he leads Tomavi Wines with a focus on quality and health.

 

Issah Muleikatu – CMO

A Pharmacy student at UDS, Muleikatu is also an experienced marketer and student-politician.

She previously co-pioneered an on-campus venture, “The Good Chef,” offering Wasawasa (Black Jollof) and corn wine. Her skills in brand promotion and innovative marketing strategies drive Tomavi Wines’ outreach and growth.
