Six Reeves Scholars from the University of Cape Coast graduate with First Class Honours during the 5th Session of the 58th Congregation, earning top academic awards across education programmes.
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has celebrated the outstanding academic achievements of students under the Reeves Scholars Program (RSP), as six scholars graduated with First Class Honours during the 5th Session of the 58th Congregation.The Reeves Scholars distinguished themselves across various education-related programmes, earning top honours and faculty awards, and reinforcing the programme’s reputation for academic excellence and international collaboration in teacher education. 

Top Award Winners among Reeves Scholars

Among the graduating scholars, Prince Ocran emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Male Student in the Faculty of Science and Technology Education, recording an impressive CGPA of 3.96.Maame Adwoa Thompson was also recognised for her exceptional performance, graduating as the Overall Best Graduating Female Student in the same faculty with a CGPA of 3.88.In the field of educational management, Nhyira Karikari Osei was adjudged the Best B.Ed. Management Student, graduating with a CGPA of 3.83

Excellence in Junior High School Education

The award for Overall Best Graduating Student in B.Ed. Junior High School Education went to Lot Jordan Abban, who completed his programme with a CGPA of 3.81, reflecting consistent academic excellence.Two other Reeves Scholars, Oware Nshyira Afariwua and Ephraim Benjamin Junior, also graduated with First Class Honours, attaining CGPAs of 3.71 and 3.81 respectively, further highlighting the strong academic performance of the cohort.
