The Ghana Education Service (GES ) has directed the district directors and school heads that the existing arrangement for stationery use at the district offices should be deducted from the schools’ capitation grants.
The GES made this revelation in a letter dated March 31, 2021, to all regional directors of Education and signed by its Deputy director-general in charge of Quality and Assurance, Dr Kwabena Bempah Tandoh for the Director-General.
End of Term Exams
The GES further indicates that there shall be no end of term examination for KG to JHS Learners.
The letter added, that mamgenmemntnb of the GES has advocated for a cancellation of the First Term Examination for all Learners for the 2021 Academic year.

The letter further indicated that all heads of basic schools should use the class exercises and class tests to assess the learners for the term.
