2025 BECE and WASSCE Dates Announced by Ghana Education Service

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the dates for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates. Examination Dates

  • BECE: Scheduled to take place from 9th June to 16th June 2025.

Information Dissemination: Regional Directors of Education have been tasked with informing Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Directors of Education about the schedules.

 

Communication to Schools: These directors are responsible for ensuring that the dates are communicated to all heads of basic and senior high schools to facilitate adequate preparation.

 

Registration Updates: The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will provide further updates regarding the registration period for candidates. Heads of schools are advised to stay informed and ensure all eligible candidates are duly registered.
