About UDS Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education (FoE) offers programmes which are purposefully designed to respond to ongoing teaching and learning, research and dissemination. The programmes are also expected to address the administration and management challenges in education, educational quality and national development needs.
The Faculty does this in collaboration with relevant Departments and Faculties on the various campuses of the University.
The Arts, Humanities and Social Science-based programmes are located at the Wa Campus, Mathematics and Applied Sciences programmes in Navrongo, Agricultural-based programmes in Nyankpala and Health-based programmes at the Tamale Campus.
The programmes are targeted at the formal (Teacher Education Studies) and non-formal (Development Education Studies) systems of education at the Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
The programmes are in the areas of Teacher Education (i.e. Early Childhood, Basic and Secondary), Development Education and Foundations Education.
