The Adidome Community Library, the first public library in the district, was officially inaugurated on 4 December 2025.The ceremony was led by Togbe Kwasinyi Kakaklolo Agyeman V, Dufia of Adidome, alongside Mr. Ziblim Alhassan Betintiche, Acting Executive Director of the Ghana Library Authority (GhLA), the CH Group Foundation, and key community stakeholders.The library aims to serve as a central hub for learning, research, and community engagement, providing residents with free access to books, digital resources, and educational programmes.Ghana Now Has 140 Public Libraries
The unveiling of the Adidome Community Library brings the total number of public libraries in Ghana to 140.
