🚀 Apply for the 2025 KIC School Farm Competition! Open to JHS & SHS schools in Ghana. Win awards, learn agribusiness, and grow your school farm. Deadline: January 31, 2025!

Applications are now open for the 2025 School Farm Competition organized by Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC) in partnership with key stakeholders.

📌 Who Can Apply?

The competition is open to public and private JHS and SHS schools across all regions of Ghana.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

🔹 Must be a junior high or senior high school

🔹 Must have access to land or any other planting medium

🔹 Must have a minimum land size of 50m x 50m (or an equivalent planting medium)

🔹 Must have a reliable, safe, and permanent source of water

🌾 Selected Schools Must:

✔ Demarcate a farming area

✔ Grow the selected crop

✔ Maintain a diary with photos to track progress

✔ Develop a business plan for farm sustainability

📊 Performance Assessment Criteria:

📌 Good Agricultural Practices throughout the competition

📌 Knowledge gained by students

📌 Level of student involvement

📌 Engagement with the local community

📌 Biodiversity protection measures

📌 A strong sustainability plan

🏆 Awards & Recognition

The best-performing schools will be recognized at an awards ceremony in November 2025, where winners will be announced.
