EducationGhana, November 3, #BawumiaSpeaks: The vice president of the Republic of Gnana, Dr Mahamaoudou Bawumnia has said that the government is providing Free WIFI to 46 Public Colleges of Education in the country.
The vice president made this statement at an event dubbed #BawumiaSpeaks held at the Main Auditorium of the Ashesi University on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
The event which was organized on the theme ”Transforming an Economy through Digitization-The Ghana Story” saw the vice president touch on the government’s achievements through digitization of the Ghanaian Economy.
The vice president also indicated that all Senior High Schools, district education offices, and 13 public universities are being provided with Free WiFi.
He added, that the move was to make sure the country’s education sector is not left out of the digital revolution.
”To make sure our education sector is not left out of the digital revolution, we are providing free Wifi to our senior high schools, 46 Colleges of Education, district education offices, and 13 public universities.” He said.
He emphasises, that a lot of progress has been made in this direction.
