EducationGhana | January 13 | JHS students beneficiaries of School Feeding Programme: The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has called on the government to make Junior High School (JHS) students beneficiaries of the School Feeding Programme.

The union at its 6th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference held on the 2nd-7th January 2022 made this decision as part of conference resolutions held at the KNUST Great Hall, Kumasi.
”GNAT is urging the government to make JHS students beneficiaries of School Feeding Programme.” the conference said.
Toilets
The GNAT is urging the Ghana Education Service (GES)Â to build toilets and changing rooms for all public schools.

Allowances
”Teachers with vehicles should acquire the right documents and use the same to apply for vehicle maintenance allowance.” The GNAT indicated.
”GNAT is to engage with GES, the employer to mechanize transfer grants to be part of the main salaries.” The conference said.
