Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has Initiated one- female student one-bicycle MP’s intervention for female day students in his beloved constituency.
The former Deputy Minister of Education, who has education at heart and is willing to support the quality education of his constituents and beyond has made a donation of some bicycles to Muslim female day students during this year’s Eid ul-Fitr occasion at Aveyime-Battor as part of the intervention.

On 3rd May 2022, the Ranking Member on Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee handed over the bicycles and helmets to selected Muslim female day students in long-distance Junior High Schools and Senior High Schools in North Tongu as a new MP’s intervention to promote girl-child education in the Zongo communities.
A number of female days students have so far benefited from the MP’s kind gestures.

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament has explained that the annual intervention has come to stay and will continue to supply more bicycles and helmets to the female students.
In a statement, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said, “In the spirit of Eid, I have been donating bicycles and helmets to selected Muslim female day students in long-distance JHS and SHS as a new MP’s intervention to promote girl-child education in the zongos of my beloved constituency.”
