MP for North Dayi, Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh, has inaugurated new classroom blocks for White Cross Basic School at Vakpo–Yordan Nu, marking a major milestone in educational transformation in the district.

Transforming Education in North Dayi

North Dayi has witnessed a significant leap forward in education infrastructure as Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh, Member of Parliament for the constituency, commissioned a modern classroom block for White Cross Basic School at Vakpo–Yordan Nu.The event, scheduled for Friday, October 31, 2025, symbolizes a shift from years of inadequate learning conditions to a new era of dignity, hope, and opportunity for children in the community.

From Trees to Classrooms — A Vision Realized

For years, pupils of White Cross Basic School studied under trees and in dilapidated structures. The newly constructed facility now provides a safe, conducive, and inspiring environment for both teaching and learning.Speaking ahead of the commissioning, Hon. Tetteh expressed joy and humility for being part of this transformative effort, describing the project as “more than infrastructure — a transformation of lives, of hope, and of tomorrow.”

Empowering the Next Generation

The MP emphasized that quality education is central to her vision for the North Dayi constituency. She noted that every child deserves access to proper facilities and the freedom to dream big, irrespective of background or location.“This is the future we are building together — one where every child can learn, grow, and lead with confidence,” she stated.
