Joycelyn Tetteh, has commissioned a new classroom block for White Cross D/A Basic School in Vakpo-Yordan-Nu, improving learning conditions for pupils and teachers.Vakpo-Yordan-Nu (Volta Region) — The Member of Parliament for North Dayi Constituency, Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh, has officially handed over a newly constructed classroom block to the White Cross D/A Basic School in Vakpo-Yordan-Nu, marking a significant milestone in the area’s educational development.The new facility replaces the school’s former open-air learning setup, providing pupils and teachers with a modern, safe, and conducive environment for effective teaching and learning. The project reflects the MP’s ongoing commitment to advancing quality education and improving rural infrastructure across North Dayi.“From studying under tough, open-air conditions to now learning in modern, vibrant classrooms ,this is more than infrastructure; it’s a promise of brighter futures,” Hon. Tetteh shared during the commissioning ceremony.To further enhance staff welfare, she donated new chairs and tables for the staff common room, emphasizing the importance of ensuring teachers’ comfort and dignity as they nurture the next generation.The ceremony drew enthusiastic participation from community members, educators, and local leaders, who commended the MP for her consistent dedication to education in the constituency. The Yordan-Nu White Cross Mission presented Hon.
