The Ghana Education Service (GES ) has set dates for the training of teachers at the Junior High Schools (JHS) on the implementation of the Common Core Program (CCP) Curriculum.
Duration
The GES in a letter dated December 29, 2020 to all regional education directorates,has indicated that the training is expected to take place from Monday, January 4, 2020 to Monday, January 11, 2021.
Venues
The GES said, that the venues for the district level trainings should be determined by the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Education Directorates.

Submission of Names
The GES further indicated that each district should submit the names of all JHS teachers to their regional offices for collation and submission to schoolsandinstrcutions@ges.gov.gh by close of day, December 31, 2020.
COVID-19 Protocols
All regionals and district education directorates are expected to ensure a strict adherence of COVID-19 Protocols during the training.

Residence
The GES added, that the training workshop shall be non-residential.
