EducationGhana| January 13| Basic and SHS Academic Calendar: The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the official reopening date and academic calendar of Basic and Senior High Schools for the 2022 Academic year.
The GES in a statement issued on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, announced to the general public particularly parents, teachers and students of public KG to Primary, JHS and Second Cycle Schools that the reopening of schools as approved by the Minister of Education upon the recommendation of the Ministerial Committee on Scholls’ Calendar is as follows:

SHS 3: Monday, 7th February 2022
SHS 2: Monday, 7th February 2022
SHS 1: Sunday, 4th April 2022

The GES added, that the full academic calendar shall be made available on all GES/MoE media outlets.
