The Ghana Education Service (GES) has given a one-week break to all Public Senior High School Students across the country.
The Semester Break began Friday,February 28 to Wednesday, March 4,2020.
The GES in a statement issued by its head of public relations,Cassandra Twum Ampofo, on Friday,February 28,2020 indicated, that the break shall mark the end of all Semesters apart from form 2 Gold Students.
Form 2 Gold
The statement further indicated,Form 2 Gold Students shall resume March 4,2020 and shall be in school until May 18,2020 to complete their first semester.
The GES said there shall be a short break for the Form 2 Gold Students from May 8 to 12,2020 to officially begin their Second Semester.
The Second Semester is expected to run uninterupted from 12th May,2020,

Form 1 Gold
The GES said all students are to resume school on March 4,2020 except Form 1 Gold Students who are to resume their second semester on May 12,2020.
Form 3 Students
All Form 3 Students are expected to resume school on March 4,2020 untill their done with their WASSCE in June 2020.
Form 1 and 2 Green
Form 1 and 2 Green Students are expected to spend their first semester from March 4 to May 8,2020 and their second semmester from 2nd July to 28th August 2020.
Form 1 and 2 Gold
Form 1 and 2 Gold students are expected to begin their second semester from 12th May to 28th August ,2020.

Single Track Students
The Statement further indicated,all Single Track Schools which have been in school shall also resume on March 4,2020.
”However, single track students will enjoy a two-week break during Easter ,to allow teachers to rest to enjoy the same number of holidays as all SHS Teachers.” the GES said.
