The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the date for the commencement of Districthe t and Regional Transfers of teachers for the 2021/22 Academic year.
The GES in a letter issued by its Director of Human Resource Management Division, Mrs Adjoa Van Vicker on July 15, 2021, to all regional directors of education, indicated, that the reposting/transfer process shall commence from August 1, 2021.
The letter further indicated, that all transfers, though shall commence on August 1, 2021, shall take effect from January 2022.
Reasons
Explaining reasons for the commencement of the reposting process in August 2021 and taken full effect in January 2022, the GES said repostings are mostly done by the end of an Academic year.
The GES further indicated, that in order not to disrupt the flow of teaching and learning, it was prudent the transfers take effect from January 2022 since the Academic year started in January 2021 and shall end in December 2021.
