Tano Odumasi SDA JHS Triumphs in Zone One of Leychar Foundation Inter-School Contest
The highly anticipated Zone One contest of the Leychar Foundation Inter-School Competition successfully took place on Friday, September 20, 2024. The contest, designed to foster academic excellence among students, saw intense competition, with schools vying for the top spot and the opportunity to advance to the grand finale.
Tano Odumasi SDA Junior High School emerged victorious, securing their place in the final showdown and taking home a cash prize of five hundred Ghana cedis (Gh₵500.00). The other participating schools didn’t leave empty-handed, receiving a cash prize of two hundred Ghana cedis (Gh₵200.00) as a gesture of encouragement for their efforts.
The Leychar Foundation has long been committed to motivating both students and teachers to strive for academic excellence. By offering such rewards, the foundation aims to inspire students to work harder in their studies and push teachers to introduce more creativity into their teaching methods.
