EducationGhana| December 22| Salary Arrears: The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has denied Public Sector workers of their Two-Months arrears scheduled to be paid in December 2021 as part of the controversial 4% salary increment for 2021.

The arrest is a 4% salary arrears accrued from January and February 2021 respectively which was noticed by validators even before payment of salaries for December 2021.
Workers’ normal gross salary from July 2021 to November 2021 has been reduced as well.

This further implies that the 4% increment of salary in December 2021 was not paid, likewise the two months arrears.
