The 30th Anniversary edition of the National Science & Maths Quiz kicked off, on October 6th, 2023.

As an exciting highlight of the 30th Anniversary celebrations, this year’s NSMQ is being hosted in two distinct regions: KNUST in Kumasi and the National Theatre in Accra.

This historic occurrence represents the first time the National Championship spans across two regions.

KNUST will serve as the venue for the preliminary four stages of the competition, with the Grand Finale scheduled to captivate audiences at the National Theatre.

All the contestants were seated in the KNUST Auditorium by 2:30 p.m., eagerly awaiting the start of the competition.

The Quiz Mistress, Mrs. Gladys Odey Schwinger officially commenced the contest at 3:15 p.m. Competing for a coveted spot in the One-eighth Stage of the National Science & Maths Quiz Competition were Ola Girls’ SHS, Boa Amponsem SHS, and Adiembra SHS.
