Accra, Ghana – April 2025: The Youth Employment Agency (YEA), under the leadership of its CEO Malik Basintale, has signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading betting company Soccabet Ghana. This impactful partnership is poised to create employment for 500 young Ghanaians across the country in various operational roles at Soccabet.

This initiative is part of YEA’s broader strategy to bridge the youth unemployment gap by forging strategic partnerships with private sector stakeholders.

Empowering the Ghanaian Youth Through Private Sector Collaborations

The collaboration will open up job opportunities in areas such as customer service, sales, IT support, and administrative roles, aligning with YEA’s mission to empower young people through sustainable employment and skills development.

“This MoU goes beyond job creation. It’s about giving the youth a chance to contribute meaningfully to the national workforce,” said Malik Basintale, Chief Executive Officer of YEA. “Together with Soccabet, we are unlocking potential, promoting innovation, and increasing productivity among the youth.”
