Vehicle transporting Animal feed crashed 34-year-old teacher to death at Kukurantumi

A Thirty-Four(34) year old Teacher at St. Paul Technical School (SPATS) in Akyem Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region has been crashed to death by a Mercedes Benz Cargo van transporting animal feed.

The deceased, Edmund Tawiah, a Liberal Studies Teacher was on a motorbike heading towards Kukurantumi township after alighting his Child in School when he was suddenly crashed by the Mercedes Benz Cargo Van with registration number AS 6621-U speeding from the Opposite direction.

The Benz Cargo Van reportedly developed a sudden mechanical fault forcing it to veer off its lane near the Bluimich Hotel to knock down the Teacher killing him at the spot.

The Vehicle also ran into a ditch which in the process got the driver and mate injured and rushed to the Akyem Tafo Government Hospital for treatment.

The body of the deceased teacher has been deposited at the morgue.

He left behind a wife who’s also a Teacher and a Child.
