4. Select a Suitable Program

Browse through the available options, considering the required WASSCE subjects and grades (minimum credit passes in six subjects, including three core and three electives, with an aggregate score of 24 or better). Ensure your selection aligns with your academic strengths and interests.

After selecting your preferred program, confirm your choice. You will receive a confirmation message or email notifying you of your successful placement.

For assistance, visit the UG Admissions Helpdesk at the UG Information Center near the main entrance. The helpdesk is available to guide students through the process.

7. Monitor Your Application Status

Regularly check your email and admissions portal for further updates regarding your application. The admissions process is expected to conclude by the end of January.

8. Prepare for Matriculation

Once your placement is confirmed, get ready for the next steps, including orientation, registration, and other matriculation activities.

Support for Applicants

The University of Ghana has set up an admissions helpdesk at the UG Information Center to provide applicants with any necessary assistance during the self-placement process.
