A tragic road accident occurred on Monday evening in Ho, leading to the untimely death of an unidentified woman and severe injuries to four schoolchildren.
The woman, a passenger in a three-wheeler locally known as “Mahama-Can-Do,” was reportedly en route to bathe her newborn grandchild but never reached her destination.
Details of the Collision
The three-wheeler collided with an L200 Mitsubishi pickup, bearing the registration number GJ 3226-21. The accident took place on the busy road connecting the stadium to Kabore junction, a frequently trafficked area in Ho.
Injuries and Medical Response
In addition to the deceased woman, four schoolchildren from Kabore School Complex who were also passengers in the three-wheeler sustained severe injuries. The children were returning home from school when the tragic event occurred.
The injured individuals were promptly transported to both the Ho Teaching Hospital and the Municipal Hospital, where medical professionals are working tirelessly to stabilize their conditions.
