The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has scheduled February 3, 2021 as the day for the beginning of the training of Private JHS Teachers on the Common Core Program (CCP ) Curriculum.
GNACOPS after the completion of its Simulation Training on the CPP, which started from Wednesday,27th January, 2021, at Somanya in Eastern Region said the main cascading training across the regions is expected to start this forthcoming Wednesday,3rd February, 2021, depending on the readiness of the individual regions.
”We would like you to notice the following important issues:
The National Teaching Council, NTC, in collaboration with GNACOPS would issue certificates for participation to teachers who will successfully complete the training.
NTC has opened its Teachers Portal for GNACOPS, where each teacher who participates in the CCP training would be registered and scored CPD points for licensing.”
GNACOPS emphasized, it is the only private education body that has been mandated by the Ministry of Education through NaCCA to train private school teachers for appropriate certification.
”Any private school teacher who decides not to take part does so on his/her own peril.
The CCP training, which would last for five days would for every region, start from a Wednesday to Sunday.” It said.
