 UPSA recognises Prof. Joshua Alabi for his pioneering leadership as its first Vice-Chancellor and his significant contributions to education, governance, and institutional development.

The University of Professional Studies, Accra, has paid glowing tribute to Prof. Joshua Alabi for the transformative leadership he provided during his tenure as the institution’s first Vice-Chancellor. His conferment of an honorary doctorate during the 17th Congregation acknowledges a period of deep institutional reform that laid the foundation for UPSA’s current national reputation.Prof. Alabi’s stewardship marked the transition of UPSA from a modest professional training centre into a competitive public university.
