The National Service Authority (NSA) has cautioned all HR Officers across the public sector to avoid declining or rejecting National Service postings without formally notifying the Authority, reinforcing transparency and due process for the 2024/2025 service year.

NSA Reminds Institutions to Follow Approved Posting Procedures

The Deputy Director-General for Finance and Administration at the National Service Authority (NSA), Mr. Fuseini Donkor, has issued a reminder to all Human Resource Officers in public sector institutions to comply fully with the Authority’s posting protocols. According to him, no National Service posting should be declined or rejected unless the institution has formally written to the NSA for clearance or further direction. The reminder forms part of ongoing efforts to streamline deployment and ensure consistency across all agencies for the 2024/2025 service year.

Importance of Compliance

The Authority stressed that adhering to the established procedures helps maintain transparency, fairness, and accountability in the placement of National Service Personnel. It also prevents disruptions in workflow, avoids delays in onboarding, and supports the effective management of service placements across all regions. Institutions that fail to comply risk creating administrative challenges that may affect personnel, HR units, and the broader deployment calendar.

NSA Reaffirms Commitment to Efficient Service Delivery

The NSA reiterated its dedication to ensuring that all service personnel are placed appropriately and receive the support they need to serve effectively. The Authority encouraged institutions to communicate promptly and formally whenever issues arise with postings so they can be resolved without delay.
