Logical Robbery

A former President of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana(TTAG), Anthony Dadzie described the decision by GES and CAGD as a daylight robbery.

According to him, The Ghana Education Service and Controller and Accountant General’s Department must explain why they painted the picture publicly that assumption of duty for the 2021 posted teachers begun from 4th January and snappily made the innocent teachers fill the IPPD forms using 18th January 2021.
”If they had no diabolic agenda, why was the date on the appointment letters not changed to be in line with the assumption of duty they secretly made us filled. By careful observation of the salary payment voucher, less than half of the January salary will be paid. What an open robbery! GES, CAGD why have you done this?” He argued.
In-service Teachers’ Salary
Anthony Dazie further queried, whether teaches who are on the field are being paid half of their JANUARY 2021 SALARIES.
”Ahah! Are those teachers already on the field receiving less than half their January salary because the school didn’t resume on the 4th of January? This is totally unacceptable! And I condemn it.” He said.
Payment for Biometric Registrations
According to concerns from the newly posted teachers, Most of them were initially compelled to pay  50cedis and 80cedis for biometric verifications.
The teachers said even though they complained, the . GES kept mute on the matter.
