EducationGhana, September 7. GES: The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced new guidelines for approval of Sandwich, Distance, Weekend and Evening Courses.
The GES in a letter dated September 6, 2021, to all regional directors and signed by its head of Human Resource, indicated, that the guidelines for applications for approval for Post Diploma Bachelor of Education (Sandwich, Distance, Weekend, and Evening) programmes have been revised, effective Tuesday 7th September 2021.
Steps to apply for Sandwich and Distance Courses effective September 7 
Step 1
An Applicant will apply through the District/Municipal/Metro Directors of Education to the Regional Director
Step 2
The Regional directorate will compile the details of all qualifying applicants to the
headquarters using the attached template
Step 3
After the Director-General’s approval is given, the Regional Director will issue an approval letter to complete the process using the attached template

NB: The programmes should be an approved course as indicated in the approved courses for Study Leave With Pay.
