The Ghana Education Service indicated ,WAEC saw the need to extend the selection process
to make way for errors which occurred during the earlier process to be corrected.
The meeting was held at the GES Headquarters on the 2nd of July, 2019.
Matters Arising
Other issues that were discussed at the meeting include the refund of printing fees paid by pupils to headteachers.
The meeting directed all headteachers to print their third term examinations questions on credit from the localities.
However, the Ghana Education Service said it shall give a Based Grant of GHC5.00 per child to
all heads soon which was expected to be used to pay their debtors.
In addition, the GES said teachers should be allowed to conduct the exams.
The GES however maintained,
monitoring should be done by the directors.
