JUST IN: Rebecca Foundation commissions Library for Bia West District

The Rebecca Foundation has handed over a library to the people of Bia West District in the Western North Region under the Management of Ghana Library Authority.

The Library is part of four libraries constructed by the Rebecca Foundation in parts of the country to help promote reading amongst Ghanaians.

The Rebecca Foundation is an initiative owned by the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs Rebecca Akuffo Addo to help develop certain sectors of the countries economy.

Established in January 2017, The Rebecca Foundation complements the efforts of government by undertaking the following; supporting and promoting initiatives that improve the economic status of women; enhancing literacy and learning skills in children; improving environmental health and sanitation by greening public spaces;
