NDC John Dramani Mahama Vows to Abolish Teacher Licensure Exams in 2025

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that it shall Set up a panel of experts to conduct a thorough assessment of the current curriculum and make recommendations on the way forward.

The NDC said in its 2020 Manifesto that the purpose of the review is to improve standards, addressing distortions and bridging the quality gap between public and private basic schools.

Technologies

The NDC said it shall embark on a rapid roll-out of modern technological learning tools (including blended learning and IoTs) to transform the scope and nature of education at this level challenges exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Arabic Studies

The party said it shall restore Arabic studies which have been taken out of the new curriculum by the NPP, and proceed to recruit Arabic teachers, thereby, lifting the current ban.

Sexuality Education

The NDC said it shall expunge Comprehensive Sexuality Education from the curriculum for Ghanaian Schools.
