JUST IN: GES announces date for JHS Mid-Semester Break

term 3 and TEACHER CCP GES TRAINING SEMESTER OLD

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced a date for Junior High School (JHS) students to go on mid-semester break.

The GES said Junior High School students should break from Monday, March 15 to Friday, March 19, 2021, for their Mid-Semester Break.

This further implies, that students after Friday, March 12, 2021, shall automatically break until Monday, March 22, 2021.

Structure of the Semester Program

The First Semester shall begin from January 18 to June 11, 2021, with a vacation from 12th June to 5th July 2021 for form 1-3 students.

The Second Semester Shall begin from the 6th of July to 2021 to 7th December 2021 with a vacation from the 8th December 2021 to January 2022 for Form 1 and Two Students only.

For Form 3 students, the Second Semester shall begin from 6th July 2021 until they write their BECE in November 2021.

Mid Term Breaks

There shall be a midterm break within both semesters.

For the First Semester, there Shall be a midterm break from March 15 to 19, 2021.

For the Second Semester, there Shall be a midterm break from September 6-10,2021.
