EducationGhana, August 22, GES: Instructional Hours for New Juabeng Public Basic Schools has been extended amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

A letter issued by the New Juabeng Municipality to all heads of schools dated August 20, 2021, indicated, that the Education Directorate write to bring to their notice that. Instructional hours in all Public Basic schools in the Municipality at all levels have been extended.

The letter said Schools will now start classes at 8:00 hours GMT and close at 15.00 hours GMT effective Monday, 23 August 2021 until otherwise directed.

Notwithstanding the paragraphs above, all Heads of schools are to continue to ensure the strict observance of the COVID-19 Protocols in their schools.

The Directorate is expected to meet stakeholders in the schools that are operating the shift system at the Primary level as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak for further discussion on how to run the schools to ensure effective Teaching and Learning without promoting the spread of COVID-19 and its third wave.
